Penguins sign draft pick Filip Hallander to three-year deal
The Penguins got one of their top draft picks under contract Sunday, signing forward Filip Hallander to a three-year entry level deal.
Hallander, 18, will play this season for Timra IK in Sweden. Last year, he had nine goals and 20 points in 40 games.
The 6-foot-1 Hallander was one of two second-round picks made by the Penguins in last month’s draft. He was selected 64th overall.
