Police seek 2 men on sex misconduct counts
Police are looking for two men charged in separate cases with sexual misconduct with a minor.
Nathan Lake, 61, of the 2300 block of Drexel Avenue, was investigated after a girl told her school counselor he’d been molesting her since she was 14.
He’s accused of committing the offenses between Jan. 1, 2017, and September. The girl told police he inappropriately touched her and demanded to see her breasts, promising to buy her food or other things. If she didn’t do what he asked, he bought her nothing, court documents said.
Lake told police the girl “flashed him” but admitted asking to see her breasts. At one point he told a detective, “I’m 61 years old and I know I should have done something to discipline her,” court documents said.
Lake is charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and child solicitation.
When a detective questioned Zu Bait about his sexual relationship with a teenage girl, he said the two were married and they’d “been together” 10 times.
The girl said she started having sex with Bait at age 14 and that she became pregnant. At the time, he was 21, court documents said. The charges cover the time between February 2017 and October.
Bait, 23, of the 1300 block of Fayette Drive, is charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
