Kyler Murray calls off Redskins visit: report
Kyler Murray was supposed to visit the Washington Redskins this week.
Now, that’s apparently not happening.
The NFL Network reported Tuesday that Murray no longer plans to meet with the Redskins.

The Redskins have the 15th overall pick in next week’s draft. Murray, projected to go as high as No.1, will almost certainly be gone by the time the Redskins pick unless the team trades up.
Though Murray may have backed out, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner met with the Redskins at the NFL scouting combine.
“Hes got this really cool trophy to prove that he played well,” teampresident Bruce Allen said last month. “He didnt bring it to our meeting the other day, but hes very confident in what he can do. And ironically, it comes from the quarterback before him [Baker Mayfield], came in and they thought he was too short at 6-foot. So hes confident in what he can do.
The Redskins have brought in a number of quarterbacks for pre-draft visits, including Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins and Missouri’s Drew Lock. They remain interested in the position because they don’t have a signal-caller besides Alex Smith who is coming off a serious leg injury locked up beyond next season.
