Plymouth Man Pleads Guilty To Molesting Girl, 8
WILKES-BARRE — A Plymouth man accused of raping an eight-year-old girl while living with her mother pleaded guilty Thursday to child sex charges.
Jermie Lee Wolfe, 29, pleaded guilty to a felony count of corruption of a minor and a misdemeanor count of indecent assault with forcible compulsion in exchange for prosecutors dropping numerous other charges against him, including forcible rape.
Wolfe was charged in 2017 after the girl, then 15, reported being sexually assaulted while Wolfe was dating her mother in 2011.
The girl reported that one day Wolfe asked her if she could keep a secret and then directed her to take off her clothes, according to prosecutors. Wolfe then unbuckled his pants and forced the girl to have sex with him, prosecutors said.
Wolfe frequently forced the girl to perform sex acts on him, and would tie her arms and ankles to the bedposts with orange extension cords if she resisted, prosecutors said.
The girl also reported that Wolfe stuffed socks in her mouth so no one could hear her cry for help, according to prosecutors.
Wolfe has been held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility since his arrest in October 2017.
Luzerne County Judge Michael T. Vough accepted the plea on Thursday and set sentencing for April 23.
