Warneka to present program on Laughlin history

February 1, 2019

LAUGHLIN — Brenda Kimsey Warneka will be at the Colorado River Museum on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. to talk everything historical about Laughlin.

It’s free to attend, but any donation is appreciated, as the museum is a nonprofit.

If you come one hour early, you can get a tour of the Little Red Schoolhouse, or have Warneka sign a copy of her book,

“Around Laughlin.”

All proceeds go toward helping the museum building fund.

Future plans are to add a library room and a fence around the building.

Light refreshments will be available at the event.

For more information, contact Elsie Needles, president of the historical society, at 928-542-9226, or go to the Colorado River Historical Society Facebook page.
