RALPH COX, 81, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sept. 20, 2018. Ralph was born in Wayne County, W.Va., on Dec. 29, 1936, a son of the late Milton and Bertha (Rowe) Cox. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters-inlaw, Sammy (Marie) Cox, Glen Roy (Wilma) Cox and Virgil Cox; sister and brother-in-law, Edith (Ira) Watts; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benjamin Franklin and Nellie (Hampton) Curnutte; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lewis (Joan) Curnutte, Carol (Arch) Epling and Charles Curnutte. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara Ann (Curnutte) Cox; sons, Ben (Judy) Cox, Dwight (Betty) Cox; grandsons, Benjamin “Benji” (Melanie) Cox, Jason (Lora) Cox, Blake Cox, James Cox and Tyler Cox; granddaughters, Rebekah Cox, Kayleigh Cox, Chelsea Cox and Michelle Cox; great-grandson, Ashton Cox, and great-granddaughters, Greenlee Cox, Sierra Cox and Emberlee Cox, all of Wayne, W.Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy (Betty) Cox and Billy (Tina) Cox of Ohio; sister and brother-inlaw, Gladys (Denny) Robertson of Ft. Gay, W.Va.; sisters-in-law, Judy Ellen Cox of Lavalette, W.Va., and Peggy Curnutte of Radnor, W.Va.; plus numerous nephews and nieces, his church family and a host of friends. Ralph truly loved God, Church, family and friends, and all will miss him. Ralph was a faithful member of the Radnor Church of Christ for over 55 years. Ralph retired from KYOWVA Industries in 1994 after working in the same location for 38 years. Visitation will be held Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, by Jeff Ross. Burial will follow in the Curnutte Cemetery in Radnor.
