Orchids and Onions: Monday, August 6, 2018

August 6, 2018

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Onions to an expired coupon for service and promising to return online requests for an appointment, then failing to reply. Also for outdated websites with bogus contacts. Unsavory business practice, for sure.

Orchids for customer service rep Damaris for her helping place my order online. Very competent, and a delight to work with. I received my order at my home; very pleased with the product. Thanks to you and Kmart. Very Satisfied Customer, KB

Onions to complaints about the new hotel. It’s not near as bad as the ugly architecture another.

Onions to the woman who almost hit me when she failed to stop at a stop sign at Smith’s. Just because stop signs are on private property doesn’t give you right not to obey them.

Orchids to All American Air for prompt service when my air conditioner stopped working. Grateful Grandma and Her Dog

Onions to the so-called professional who is constantly getting called out on FB for terrible customer relations. It’s appalling to add employees’ names and drag them into your online public battles. Be ashamed and embarrassed. Unbelievably, your doors are still open.

Orchids to Todd and crew at Razor’s Edge Flooring for our bathroom remodel. Amazing job! Beautiful tile work in the shower with some great extra touches. Everything completed on time and very easy to work with. Job well done.

Orchids to the city planning department for approving the plans and design of the new Holiday Inn. The landscaping looks beautiful and it’s not done yet. The hotel will bring tourists to the London Bridge and encourage them to visit the English Village. It’s progress and more income for our city coffers.

Orchids to Shannon. Always a great haircut and conversation. Plus she really likes La Fonda in Flagstaff!

Orchids to the Suddenlink repairman. He did a great job even though his day was long, long, long.

Orchids to Dr. Salvino. You are great!

Orchids to the new Holiday Inn Express. When completed, it will be a wonderful addition to our community.

Orchids and kudos to the crew of Tropical Pools and Designs for re-plastering our swimming pool in one day! They saved the existing tile and did a beautiful job, performing exactly what and when they said they would. Thanks to Max Pool Services for the perfect start up. It’s like a new pool again!
