HUNTINGTON -- At least two people were displaced Tuesday night after a fire destroyed their mobile home located in the 5600 block of U.S. Route 2.

The fire was reported around 9:45 p.m. and was fully involved when crews arrived. By 11 p.m., crews were still on scene though the fire was under control.

Chief David Ash with the Ohio River Road Volunteer Fire Department said at least two residents were home at the time of the fire, but no one was injured.

Crews with the Barboursville Fire Department, Ona Fire Department and Green Valley Volunteer Fire Department, along with Cabell County EMS, assisted with putting out the fire.

Traffic on Route 2 was slowed as tanker trucks filled up at a hydrant across the road and railroad tracks from the fire.

The cause of the fire was not known as of Tuesday night.
