Non-life-threatening injuries in Bridgeport stabbing
BRIDGEPORT — A person sustained non-life-threatening injuries during an apparent stabbing in the city Tuesday, police spokesman Terron Jones confirmed Wednesday.
Police units responded to the 300 block of Spring Street around 5 p.m. When police officers tried to find out what happened, the victim was uncooperative, Jones said.
“He sustained a laceration to the side of the face and ear,” he said. “He also had a laceration on his back.”
The victim was taken to the emergency room to be treated for injuries.
Tuesday’s stabbing victim is the third person to be treated at a city hospital for injuries related to a stabbing.
On Monday, two people were stabbed in the city and were treated at Bridgeport Hospital shortly after 10 p.m. There was no immediate word on where this stabbing incident took place.
