In an Associated Press story Saturday about two brothers being held as material witnesses in the Oklahoma bombing case, a comment that one of the brothers, James Nichols of Decker, Mich., puts stamps on money stating he isn’t responsible for backing its value was wrongly attributed.

The comment was made by Bob McLauchlan, an employee of Vigoro Industries, a fertilizer dealer in Cass City. Based on a Detroit Free Press story, the original story had attributed the comment to Bill Brown, who runs the dealership.
