SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Police in upstate New York are searching for a suspect who they say stabbed a 16-year-old boy during a fight.

WSTM-TV reports the stabbing happened Tuesday afternoon in Syracuse. Police say responding officers found the teen suffering from multiple stab wounds to his back.

The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital with injuries that don't appear to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
