5 candidates will interview to fill Superior Court judge position
Five candidates will interview next month to replace retiring Allen Superior Court Judge Stanley Levine.
Levine, 80, announced in August he will retire at the end of the year, after 20 years on the bench. His term ends in 2020, and the person chosen to replace him will serve out that term.
The county’s Judicial Nominating Commission will hold public interviews Oct. 1, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Allen County Courthouse. The commission will select three finalists, and Gov. Eric Holcomb will choose from among them Levine’s replacement.
