The Villas to hold Saturday grand opening

January 12, 2019

Lake Havasu City’s newest housing district is expected to hold its grand opening Saturday in the Havasu Foothills.

“The Villas,” on Cherry Tree Boulevard, will eventually comprise 180 homes slated for development over the next four years. Home values will be substantially lower than that of surrounding properties, starting in the range of $400,000 per unit. According to property developers Janacek Homes, the new residences will invite more residents and further interest in the Foothills area.

“I’m very pleased with what Janecek homes has managed to pull together in such a short time,” said Janecek Homes representative Eric Gedalje. “To see 14 homes in this area nearing completion so close to the grand opening is amazing … it just doesn’t happen.”

The homes have been in development for the past 18 months, and Saturday’s grand opening will offer Havasu residents and visitors an opportunity to tour the development’s available model houses.

The event will offer music, food and refreshments, bounce-houses for children, tours, and an appearance by representatives of the Western Arizona Humane Society, who will be offering dogs for adoption at the location. The event will take place 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, at the eastern end of Cherry Tree Boulevard.
