NEW YORK (AP) _ Treasury bond prices were unchanged at midday.

The yield on the Treasury's main 30-year hovered around Monday's late rate of 6.42 percent.

Yields on three-month Treasury bills were 5.08 percent and the discount held at its auction rate Monday of 4.96 percent. Six-month yields were 5.36 percent and the discount edged up 0.01 percentage point from auction to 5.16 percent. One-year yields were 5.54 percent as the discount rose 0.01 point to 5.26 percent.

Yields are the interest bonds pay by maturity, while the discount is the interest at which they are sold.
