TUESDAY

Registration for fall soccer and baseball will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 21-24 at Roy Warner Park, 4287 Festival Trail Road, Wagener, and the Courtney Center, 49 Roy St., Wagener. The registration fee for soccer is $25 and the fee for baseball is $50.

The Jubilee Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. today, in the gymnasium at Millbrook Baptist Church, 223 S. Aiken Blvd. S.E. Rock Slaughter and his trumpet will perform. The M’Aiken a Difference Lewy Body Dementia Support Group will meet from 11 a.m. to noon today at the DayBreak Training and Outreach Center, 151 Linden St. S.W. Dr. Catherine Harmon Toomer will be the guest speaker.

WEDNESDAY

The Citizens for Nuclear Technology Up & Atom Breakfast will be held at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Newberry Hall, 117 Newberry St. Michael Budney, manager of the Savannah River Site, will be the guest speaker. PFLAG Aiken will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Aiken Unitarian Universalist Church, 115 Gregg Ave. Anyone wanting to learn more about the LGBT community or how to support LGBT family members and friends are invited.

FRIDAY

The Astronomy Club of Augusta will meet at 7 p.m. Friday, in room 117 of the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center on the campus of USC Aiken, 471 University Parkway. Dr. Nathan Yanasak will be the guest speaker. The topic will be Cosmic Rays. Refreshments will be served. Lunar observing on the lawn will be held after the meeting.
