PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ The Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday acquired left wing Gino Odjick from the New York Islanders for left wing Mikael Andersson and a draft pick.

Odjick, 29, has 15 points on five goals and 10 assists in 46 games with the Islanders. He also has 90 penalty minutes.

``To add a 6-foot-3, 227-pound winger who has some aggression and nastiness about him favors our club,'' Flyers general manager Bob Clarke said.

Odjick, a 10-year veteran, has 120 career points on 55 goals and 65 assists.

Andersson had two goals, three assists and no penalty minutes in 36 games this season.

In addition to Andersson, the Flyers sent the Islanders Carolina's fifth round pick in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. The pick was acquired last month as part of the Keith Primeau deal.
