SYCAMORE – PJ’s Courthouse Tavern will hold two fundraisers to benefit Meals on Wheels starting at the end of the month.

Owners Paul and John Schwartz will hold a charity raffle May 30 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at their tavern, 202 W. State St. The event will include meat, gift card and 50/50 raffles, according to a news release.

The tavern will hold a garage sale June 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds from both events will go to Meals on Wheels.

“The Schwartz family has supported Meals on Wheels in many ways over the years,” said Colleen Bredeson, Meals on Wheels community outreach coordinator.

The events are two of many more to come in commemoration of PJ’s Courthouse Tavern’s 25th anniversary, according to the news release.
