Elizabeth LaVerne “Liz” John, 86, Pardeeville
Elizabeth LaVerne “Liz” John, 86, of Pardeeville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Wisconsin Veterans Home at King.
She was born Sept. 1, 1932, in North Leeds, the daughter of Frank and Maude (Fuller) Tomlinson. Elizabeth married George John on Oct. 8, 1960.
She enjoyed dancing, polkas, especially Don Peachey, NASCAR, horseshoes, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Danielle.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George; children, Neal (Bobbie) John, Carey (Tammy) John; grandchildren, Danielle (Orlando Cazarez) Huertha, Toni (Alex) Nordbeck and Ashley (Nick) Yonkie; great-grandchildren, Carlos and Ariannas Huertha and Samantha and Grace Hinickle; brother, Harold “Pat” Tomlinson; and a sister-in-law, Leora Tomlinson. She was preceded in death by her parents and by 11 brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Grasse Funeral Home, 119 Industrial Drive, Pardeeville. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Pacific Cemetery at a later date.
