4 voting precincts in Allegheny County have new polling places

November 24, 2018

Four more voting precincts -- one in Penn Hills and three in Pittsburgh -- have updated polling places.

Pittsburgh’s Districts 14, 15 and 16 in the 12th Ward will vote at Chadwick Recreation Center, 1462 Oberlin St.

Penn Hills District 2 in the 8th Ward will vote at Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Department No. 4, 1002 Center Ave.

An Allegheny County news release issued Thursday said the locations were moved because the former voting places “had no heat or is going through mold remediation.”

Impacted voters have been sent letters to advise them of the change and former polling places will have postings on Election Day to direct voters to the new sites, the county said.

Polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Voters can verify voter registration on the county’s “On Election Day” webpage.
