WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A 40-foot section of roof at a Worcester church has collapsed, sending bricks crashing into a snowbank on one side of the building.

Firefighters responded to the Epworth United Methodist Church at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived at the scene, bricks had fallen into a snowbank, and there was what looked to be a large pile of snow that had fallen from the roof. Firefighters forced down the remaining unstable bricks.

There were no reports of injuries.

The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/1EHKbAR ) reports that city Building Department officials were inspecting the church.

The church was built in 1910, according to the city's online property records.
