The man killed has been identified as 50-year-old Somsack Vongprachanh.

Police officers responded to unknown trouble early on Dec. 31 and found a man with obvious trauma.

Fire personnel arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Authorities didn’t immediately say Tuesday now Perry-Vandaveer was linked to the slaying and it was unclear if he has a lawyer yet.
