Orchids and Onions: Thursday, January 10, 2019

January 11, 2019

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to HRMC ER room. Recently I had to visit the ER room twice for separate problems. Having read complaints about this ER, I wasn’t too happy to go. In a reasonable length of time a nurse/doctor was diagnosing my problem and explaining a proper course of treatment. I am well again. Thanks ER room.

Onions to “warming” up your noisy motorcycle and disturbing your neighbors! Hint: carbureted models: start on the enricher and idle for maybe 30 seconds; ride. Fuel-injected: start and ride within 15 to 20 seconds, not minutes! Don’t damage your engine and the peace!

Orchids to Dr. Kutil at Novak Animal Care for saving Tootsie Roll’s life after she got ran over. You have a wonderful, caring, awesome staff there. There is not a better place to take a injured animal in town. Tootsie’s Mom

Onions to the person posting about slow drivers in school zones. How fast do you go? Bet there’s a police officer waiting for you.

Orchids to Discount Tire. I had a little problem, but Chris, the manager there, got right back to me and took care of problem right away and made me feel all fuzzy inside. Thank you, you guys are pros.

Onions to the inconsiderate persons at the corner of Kiowa Blvd N and Desert Sage Drive. The noise curfew is at 10 p.m. and yet you continued your fireworks well after 1 a.m. We should have called the police, but I am sure they had more important business on their hands. Next time we won’t be so nice!

Orchids to our great waiter, Kyle, at College Street Brewhouse. We had some spills, but he took good care of us very happily! We’ll be back for sure. Are the bosses looking at this?

Onions to the doctor here in Havasu that had his staff person call me on Friday at the end of their work day and said call them Wednesday after the holidays to let her know what’s wrong, sure glad it was not an emergency, and sorry to have bothered you in the first place.

Orchids to the parent that will take the time and cares enough about their child to deal with the teachers, regarding the inappropriate conversation about God and Christmas.
