MINOT, N.D. _ Disputes over property buyouts for a flood protection project have led to four recent lawsuits against the city of Minot. A June 2011 Souris River flood caused by heavy spring snowmelt and rains damaged or destroyed thousands of homes and other structures in Minot and caused an estimated $1 million in damage in the region.
