HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP Kerstetter’s walk-off homer lifts Lancers

FAIRFIELD — Richie Kerstetter hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to give ND-Fairfield a 2-1 win over New Milford in a SWC baseball game Thursday afternoon.

Nate Stiles hit a game-tying RBI-double in the bottom of the seventh for the Lancers, who improved to 10-9 overall and 10-2 in the league. Joseph Larson went 2-for-3 and drove in the team’s only run for the Green Wave (10-9, 4-8).
