Cavaliers’ Coles Out, Jackson In

CLEVELAND (AP) _ The Cleveland Cavaliers placed guard Bimbo Coles on the injured list Monday because of a sprained right thumb.

Coles has played in 47 games this season, averaging 4.9 points.

He was replaced by guard-forward Jim Jackson, who was activated from the injured list. Jackson, sidelined since March 26 by a muscle inflammation in his left foot, has averaged 10.3 points since he was acquired Jan. 2 in a trade from Atlanta.
