Just before 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Highways 81 and 91.
The investigation revealed a 2015 Toyota Corolla, driven by Liska Sarver, 57, from Norfolk, had been traveling eastbound on Highway 91 and had come to a stop at the intersection of Highway 81. All drivers and occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Air bags were deployed in both vehicles.
Alcohol is not considered to be a factor in the accident.
Humphrey Fire responded with Humphrey Rescue to the scene, assisting the Sheriff’s Office with traffic control.
Cornhusker Power subsequently arrived and secured the electrical lines to the overhead street light.
Sarver was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Right of Way.
