Man pleads guilty in BAE tuition scam

A man pleaded guilty Wednesday to a federal wire fraud charge for stealing from a local defense contractor.

Nicholas A. Young stole $25,500 through a tuition assistance program, which provided upfront payments to employees who submitted requests for assistance, according to an indictment. Thirty other former BAE Systems employees are charged in the scheme.
