Arkansas 108, Bethune-Cookman 42
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Freshman Jason Jennings had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Nick Davis added 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead No. 18 Arkansas to a 108-42 victory over Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday night.
Five Razorbacks scored in double figures as Arkansas (5-0) posted its largest winning margin since beating Montevallo by 68 points in 1995.
Sophomore Glendon Alexander contributed a season-high 16 points for the Razorbacks.
Davis recorded his fourth double-double in five games after overcoming a first-half injury. The senior dislocated a finger five minutes into the game, but returned to play the final 2:37 of the half. Davis had 11 points and 10 rebounds in the second half.
Sophomore Delvin Thomas led Bethune-Cookman (0-3) with 12 points, while junior J.R. Allen had 10 points.
Arkansas raced to a 26-2 lead and was up 51-15 at halftime. It was the lowest scoring output in a half by an Arkansas opponent since Mississippi posted only 14 points in 1987.
Bethune-Cookman improved on its 23 percent shooting in the second half, but never made a substantial run at the lead.
