NZ 32-2 at lunch in reply to 282 vs. Bangladesh
DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) — Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets to restrict New Zealand to 32-2 at lunch on the second day of the second cricket test on Tuesday.
Shakib returned 2-1 as the visitors struggled to reply Bangladesh’s first innings total of 282.
Peter Fulton scored 14 and Hamish Rutherford made 13. Kane Williamson (1) was unbeaten at the interval.
Earlier, New Zealand’s Neil Wagner returned 5-64 and Ish Sodhi finished with figures of 3-59 as Bangladesh lost its last five wickets for 54 runs in an eventful morning session.
Tamim Iqbal top-scored with 95 for Bangladesh.
