Small Business Saturday draws many local shoppers to invest back into the community
Downtown Ludington was a busy site on Saturday as the community and the nation celebrated Small Business Saturday to help remind people that shopping small and locally invests in their own community and its members.
Small Business Saturday is a shopping holiday held on the last Saturday of November each year during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Small business owners, managers and workers were busy with several customers coming through the doors.
“(Small Business Saturday) is always good. It depends on the weather and other stuff going on, but people come down,” said downtown Ludington Glik’s Manager Gary Grene.
