JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) _ Estew Ndiaye gave Southern Nazarene the lead in overtime and the Lady Redskins held on with key free throws from Becky Cole and Julia Yunusova to edge Simon Fraser 59-55 Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the NAIA Division I tournament.

The victory sends Southern Nazarene (33-2) into a Monday semifinal matchup with the winner of the Union, Tenn.-Western Washington game. Southern is seeking to become the first team to win three consecutive championships.

Simon Fraser overcame a 37-26 deficit in the second half to tie the game at 50-50 on a 3-point basket by Carly Soloman with seven seconds left.

Simon Fraser (32-6) went on top 53-50 early in the overtime on a 3-point play by Carly Solomon. Southern grabbed the lead for good at 54-53 on a basket by Cole with 3:46 to play.

Nadiaye pushed the lead to 56-53 with a basket before Joby McKenzie cut the Clan’s deficit to 56-55 with a jumper.

The Lady Redskins added a single free throw by Cole and two by Yunusova for the final margin.

McKenzie topped Simon Frazer with 14 points.
