Police: 80-year-old woman critical after being struck, pinned by car
An 80-year-old woman was pinned beneath a car after she and another pedestrian were hit Friday afternoon on the West Side.
The two women were crossing the lane in front of a store when they were struck at about noon at 10838 Potranco, according to San Antonio police.

The driver of a Ford Focus was making a left turn onto the lane in front of the store and did not see the women crossing the road, investigators said.
Police said the woman who was pinned was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
No charges are expected to be filed as of Friday afternoon, officials said.
