Saugus woman charged with sexual assault on teen
LYNN, Mass. (AP) — An 18-year-old Saugus woman has been held without bail after pleading not guilty to taking part in the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl that was captured on video and distributed via cellphone.
The Daily Item of Lynn (http://bit.ly/1vbTK6b) reported Tuesday that Kailyn Bonia pleaded not guilty to assault to rape; indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over; posing/exhibiting a child in a sexual act; and kidnapping at her arraignment in Lynn District Court earlier this month.
Police say Bonia and two men assaulted the girl Sept. 3. Arrest warrants have been issued for the men, one of whom is believed to have fled the state.
Police found the alleged victim in the woods half-naked, alone and overdosing on heroin.
Bonias’ court-appointed attorney refused comment.
