The following preliminary hearings are scheduled before District Judge Susan Mankamyer in Boswell:

Driving under the influence

Colt Diehl, 21, Henry Street, Jennerstown, was charged Jan. 10 with two counts of driving under the influence and six summary offenses. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 1:45 a.m. Oct. 8 state police stopped a vehicle driven by Diehl along Acosta Road in Jenner Township for multiple traffic violations. Diehl had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. March 6. Christopher Newman, 34, Lincoln Highway, Jenner Township, was charged Jan. 11 with two counts of driving under the influence and five summary offenses. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 9:49 p.m. Dec. 10 state police stopped a vehicle driven by Newman along Penn Avenue north of Boswell for multiple traffic violations. Newman had a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 6. Randy Tirko, 58, Boswell Heights, Boswell, was charged Monday with driving under the influence and four summary offenses. According to a probable-cause affidavit, on Jan. 5 state police stopped a vehicle driven by Tirko along Lincoln Highway in Jenner Township for multiple traffic violations. Tirko had a blood alcohol content of 0.25 percent, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing had not yet been scheduled Thursday evening, according to an online court document. Ronald Gamber, 50, South Center Avenue, Somerset, was charged Dec. 27 with two counts of driving under the influence and a summary offense. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 7:08 p.m. Dec. 24 state police found Gamber sleeping in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on Rhoads Road in Jenner Township. Gamber had a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Jan. 30.
