Catherine Ebert, 91, Columbus
Catherine M. Ebert, 91, Columbus, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at the Columbus Health & Rehab Center in Columbus.
Catherine was born to Leo and Florence (Schmitt) Moy on Nov. 2, 1926, in Bristol. She married Lenus Ebert on June 25, 1946, in Madison, and had three children. Catherine was employed seasonally at the Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie, the Stokely Canning Company in Columbus and as a school bus driver for Kurth’s bus service. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and tending her vegetable garden.
Survivors include two sons, Henry (Mildred) Ebert of Fall River, Robert (Dianna) Ebert of Fall River; one daughter, Barbara (Roger Winter) Ebert of Columbus; two grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron Krueger) Dykstra and Keria Dykstra; four great-grandchildren, Mason, Paige, Quentin and Sophia; one sister, Margaret Blaaska of Sun Prairie; one brother, Bernie Moy of Sun Prairie; granddog, Mia; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lenus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 10, at St. Jerome Catholic Church. The Rev. Garrett Kau will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. A special thanks to staff at Columbus Health & Rehab and Hillside Hospice.
