HS Roundup: Hodorovich Fans 16 In No-hitter

May 9, 2019

A fifth-inning walk was the only blemish in a masterpiece by Jake Hodorovich, who fired a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts in Lakeland’s 8-0 win over Old Forge in a Lackawanna League Division III baseball game on Wednesday.

The game started Tuesday but the teams only got through an inning before the game was halted by rain. The same starting pitchers were on the mound when the game resumed Wednesday at Pagnotti Park.

Adam Retzbach homered and scored three runs for the Chiefs and Antonio Natale singled, scored two runs and drove in two.
