Former CIA Chief Joins Law Firm
NEW YORK (AP) _ Former CIA Director William Colby has joined the Washington office of Donovan, Leisure, Newton & Irvine, the New York law firm announced Monday.
Colby began his career as an associate partner in Donovan Leisure’s New York office in 1947, following World War II service in the Office of Strategic Services.
In 1951 Colby joined the CIA and was director from 1973 until 1976. He has been a Washington lawyer and consultant since 1978.
