ST. PAUL, Minn. _ A Trump administration push for the deportation of Vietnam War-era refugees has sparked protests from St. Paul’s Southeast Asian community, with elected officials and families saying they will do whatever they can to fight it. State Rep.-elected Kaohly Her on Thursday called it a betrayal of wartime promise. UPCOMING: 300 words.

BIG SCREEN POLICE RECRUITING

ST. PAUL, Minn. _ St. Police are turning to an unusual venue to bring more women onto the force: a night at the movies. A new minute-long recruiting video stars St. Paul officer Anna Taylor. It’s running before feature films at 11 Mann family theaters around Minnesota this holiday season, starting Friday. UPCOMING: 250 words.

TIMBERWOLVES-SPURS
