Grand Jury Refuses to Indict Basketball Player Accused of Rape
OXFORD, Ohio (AP) _ A grand jury refused to indict Miami University basketball player Kenneth Bozeman, who was accused of raping another student, the school said Wednesday.
University police investigated the allegation in October and decided not to file charges, after consultation with the Butler County prosecutor’s office.
The woman then filed a private complaint on Dec. 1, and that wound up before the county grand jury.
Bozeman, 19, of Dayton, had taken a leave of absence from the Miami squad. He now will rejoin the team, coach Herb Sendek said.
