According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 47-year-old Aiken woman called police Monday claiming someone had broken into a Hahn Avenue residence she was staying at and remodeling for the owner. She said a microwave was missing from inside the home.
A 65-year-old Aiken man reported Monday someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked outside his Woodhilll Place home. He told officers his black iPhone was stolen.
Officers charged a man Tuesday morning with avoiding a traffic control device after he was seen driving through a restaurant parking lot on Whiskey Road in an attempt to avoid a traffic light. The man’s passenger was arrested for an outstanding warrant in Edgefield County.
