February 3, 2001

TORONTO (AP) _ Muggsy Bogues was placed on the injured list Saturday with a sore right knee by the Toronto Raptors, who also activated center Mamadou N’diaye.

Bogues, who at 5-foot-3 is the shortest player in NBA history, is on the injured list for the second time this season. He appeared in the season opener before being placed on the injured list on Nov. 10 after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee.

Bogues rejoined the roster on Jan. 23 and appeared in just two games where he went scoreless with two points in 26 minutes.

N’diaye, acquired in a Jan. 12 trade from Denver, was placed on the injured list on Jan. 23 with a right groin strain. He has yet to play a game in the NBA after hurting himself during the preseason.
