Bottomline Technologies: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) _ Bottomline Technologies Inc. (EPAY) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $3.6 million.
The Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based company said it had profit of 9 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 34 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 33 cents per share.
The payment and invoice service provider posted revenue of $108.2 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $106.2 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $9.4 million, or 23 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $422 million.
Bottomline Technologies shares have dropped 10% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $43.02, a fall of 24% in the last 12 months.
