— EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Tom Brady looks to set the NFL record for regular-season victories by a quarterback as the New England Patriots (3-2) square off with the New York Jets (3-2) for first place in the AFC East. Josh McCown and the Jets are going for their fourth straight win in what has been a surprising start. Game starts 1 p.m.

— SHANGHAI — Roger Federer extends his winning streak over Rafael Nadal this year to four matches after beating the top-ranked Spaniard 6-4, 6-3 to win the Shanghai Masters.

— GLENDALE, Ariz. — Arizona Coyotes Rick Tocchet is known as a players’ coach, but that could change quickly after his team’s latest loss. Hard-skating practices and curfews could be in order for the Western Conference’s only winless team following a hapless 6-2 loss to Boston.
