MPR Connects session to feature podcast team

MPR Connects, featuring a closeup look the award-winning “In the Dark” podcast, will be held Thursday at the Kahler Apache, 1517 16th St. SW.

Reporter Madeleine Baran and managing director Chris Worthington will discuss how the “In the Dark” investigative team chooses its stories and pursues them. The first season of the podcast covered the Jacob Wetterling case, while the second season focused on the story of Curtis Flowers, a Mississippi man tried six times for the same crime.

The program is hosted by Minnesota Public Radio stations in Rochester. Refreshments are from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the talk starting at 6 p.m., followed by a Q&A session.
