‘No Child Left in the Cold’ seeks donations
Youth Uplift Ministry is once again organizing its annual “No Child Left in the Cold″ drive, and the not-for-profit charitable organization seeks donations to make the endeavor a success.
The goal for the latest effort is to distribute winter wear to all elementary schools in Kankakee County, said Pete Martin, YUM founder and counselor.
Donors can help by purchasing hats, gloves and scarves and dropping them off at Auto Lab Car Care Center at 382 N. Schuyler Ave. in Kankakee. Donors can also call Pete’s Pick-Up Service at 815-690-4351 to arrange for a pick up of items.
