TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) _ Murray Hicks drove in four runs with an inside-the-park hume run and a single to pace a 15-hit attack, as the University of Arizona routed the Cleveland Indians 10-2 in an exhibition game Tuesday.

Hicks’ three-run homer, a line drive which eluded diving Cleveland left fielder Mel Hall, capped Arizona’s four-run second inning against losing pitcher Mike Jeffcoat.

Arizona, 25-8 in their collegiate season, added three runs off Jeffcoat in the third inning.

Derek Huenneke pitched the first two innings, holding Cleveland scoreless on one hit to pick up the victory. John Green then tossed two-hit, shutout ball over the next four innings.

Todd Trafton, Chuck Johnson and Joe O’Donnell each added a pair of hits for Arizona.

Cleveland scored twice in the ninth inning on run-scoring doubles by Carmen Castillo and Jim Wilson.
