Tickets on sale for Children’s Home Society’s Afternoon Tea
HUNTINGTON — Children’s Home Society of West Virginia is hosting an Afternoon Tea Party Sunday, May 5, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Janet Smith Vineyard Forever Families Center for Permanency. Various types of tea, coffee and water will be provided as well as tea sandwiches, macaroons, scones and other desserts.
Tickets for the event are $10 for a single ticket, or a table for six can be purchased for $45. Tickets are available at childhswv.org or by calling 681-378-2530.
The funds raised will be used to fund the programs and services provided by Children’s Home Society.
The Society provides comprehensive child welfare, behavioral health, social-casework and advocacy services. Last year the Society provided services to 16,126 children and families from fourteen primary locations throughout the state. The mission of the Children’s Home Society is to promote the well-being of children.
Current efforts are directed at helping children find lifetime families, protecting and nurturing children, and helping preserve and strengthen their families.
