Shannon Marie Zelinka and Michael Alan Rinehimer were united in marriage Aug. 25, 2018, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Richard Cirba officiating. The groom is the son of Joan Rinehimer and the late Floyd Rinehimer, of Hanover Twp. He is the grandson of Floyd and Shirley Rinehimer and the late John and Katherine Knapich. He is a graduate of Hanover Area High School and earned his bachelor degrees in biology and chemistry from King’s College. He is employed by Sanofi Pasteur as a pharmaceutical tech. The bride is the daughter of Thomas and MaryBeth Zelinka, of Hanover Twp. She is the granddaughter Donna Weidow and the late Edwin Weidow and the late Thomas and Theresa Zelinka, of Hanover Twp. She is a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Bloomsburg University. She is employed as a crisis tech by Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. The bride chose Kim Fraley as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Zelinka, sister-in-law; Emily and Laura Rinehimer, sisters of the groom, and Melanie Good. The groom chose Tristan Zelinka, brother of the bride, as best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Zelinka Jr. and Corey Zelinka, brothers of the bride and Evan Hepner and Paul Ellsworth. Kara Weidow, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. Ring bearer was Aaron Smith, cousin of the groom. Scriptural readings were given by Tristan Zelinka and Laura Rinehimer. An evening cocktail hour and dinner was held at Sand Springs Country Club, Drums. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the mother of the groom at Pasquale’s Restaurant, Hanover Twp. A bridal shower was hosted by the mother of the bride at Sand Springs Country Club, Drums. A fall honeymoon is planned. The couple resides in Wapwallopen.
