ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) _ The Detroit Lions have re-signed defensive end Jared DeVries, linebacker Clint Kriewaldt and defensive end James Hall to one-year contracts.

Team president Matt Millen also said Tuesday that running back Sedrick Irvin, a former Michigan State standout, will not be back with the team. Safety Kywin Supernaw also will not be signed for next season.

Irvin, cousin of former Dallas star Michael Irvin, suffered a season-ending knee injury during the team's final 2001 exhibition game.
