Fraud — A woman in the 900 block of North Spring Street reported contractor fraud at 9:56 a.m. on Friday.

Intoxicated driver — Police arrested a man for third driving while drunk offense following a traffic stop near the intersection of South Spring Street and Cooper Street at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fire — A caller reported seeing smoke coming from the back of a residence in the 300 block of Front Street at 2:33 p.m. on Friday. The fire department made contact and counseled the residents.

Vandalism — A woman reported her vehicle’s door was dinged in the 800 block of Park Avenue at 2:48 p.m. on Friday.

Noise complaint — An officer received a report of an alarm going off in the area of West Mackie Street and Grover Street at 6:04 p.m. on Friday. An officer located a vehicle with an audible alarm and advised the owner of the issue.

Retail theft — One male juvenile received a citation for retail theft and two male juveniles received citations for being parties to a crime of retail theft at Shopko, 822 Park Avenue, at 6:20 p.m. on Friday. Their parents were notified.

Traffic stop — A man received citations for driving with a suspended license, open container and marijuana possession following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of North Street Street at 9:04 p.m. on Friday.

Disorderly conduct with vehicle — A man was cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle and was warned for loitering in the 1600 block of North Spring Street at 11:07 p.m. on Friday.

Noise complaint — Police received an anonymous report of loud noise coming from a party near Fourth and Mary Streets at 11:11 p.m. on Friday. An officer found a couple sitting around a campfire with no music playing. They were advised of the complaint.

Noise complaint — Police received a report of loud noise in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive at 11:51 p.m. on Friday. Officers checked the area and found it quiet.

Noise complaint — A man reported four diesel trucks being loud up and down the 100 block of Spring Street at midnight on Saturday. Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle and made him aware of the complaint while warning him for a defective headlamp.

Noise complaint — Police received an anonymous report of people yelling outside in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive at 1:25 a.m. on Saturday. Officers checked the area and did not locate anything.

False fight — Police received a report of two men fighting near North Center Street and West Maple Avenue at 2:44 a.m. on Saturday. An officer found it was not a fight, but family members talking and hugging.

Hit-and-run — A woman reported someone struck her vehicle overnight in the 300 block of Grove Street at 6:19 a.m. on Saturday.

Intoxicated driver — Police arrested a woman following a report of a possible drunk driver in the 100 block of Stone Street at 11:32 a.m. on Saturday.

Theft — A woman reported a suspect stole her Xbox and bicycle from the 100 block of Judson Street at 2:02 p.m. on Saturday.

Gas drive-off — A man prepaid for $4.20 in gas and bought a beverage at Kwik Trip, 2006 N. Spring St., around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday. He pumped the correct amount of gas at one pump and then backed up to another pump, where he filled up with $44.61 worth of gas and left without paying. The man drove a 2002 green Ford Ranger.

Animal complaint — Police made contact with a man about the dog left in his car with the window cracked in the 100 block of Frances Lane and advised him about how easily dogs can get sick in hot cars at 4:32 p.m. on Saturday.

Intoxicated person — A man was reported as visiting his mother while intoxicated at an assisted living home in the 100 block of Fakes Court at 4:42 p.m. on Saturday after being warned about not arriving drunk. Police advised the man to leave staff alone.

Drugs reported — Police recevied an anonymous report of people grilling outside with the smell of marijuana in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive at 5:11 p.m. on Saturday. An officer made contact with the subjects, who were cooperative, and found no sign of marijuana use.

Fraud — Police received a report of a woman using a counterfeit $100 bill at BP, 821 Park Avenue, at 6:22 p.m. on Saturday. The suspect is a white woman, about 4-foot-11, with glasses and dark blonde hair. The woman also tried using the bill at Shell, 817 Park Avenue, but was denied.

Fight — Police assisted Dodge County officers with a reported fight between two woman on Kellom Road at 7:44 p.m. on Saturday.

Noise complaint — Police received a report of loud music coming from a residence in the 600 block of South Spring Street at 8:06 p.m. on Saturday. The residents were cooperative and turned down the music.

Fire — Police received a report of black smoke at 8:09 p.m. and found a controlled burn in a burn put on Roller Avenue. The fire department counseled the homeowners.

Unwanted person — Police received a report of a woman who wouldn’t leave Dino’s, 404 S. Center St., and went behind the bar to make her own drink at 9:27 p.m. on Saturday. Officers asked her to leave and she did so after a small verbal argument. Police did not have probable cause for an arrest.

Child abuse — Police investigated a report of child abuse in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 9:38 p.m. on Saturday.

Trespassing — Police responded to a report of people with flashlights inside the fence of the location of the West Third Street fire at 10:32 p.m. Saturday. An officer did not locate anything.

Bar complaint — A man called police upset that a bartender in the 400 block of South Center Street told him to leave and dumped out his drink at 10:56 p.m. on Saturday. He wanted his money back. Police advised him that a bartender can refuse him service and that the issue was a civil one.

Fire — Police assisted in the response to the semi-truck fire on Highway 151 at 11:25 p.m. on Saturday.
